Those words offer such hope...Although it does look like the pier is just floating out to sea at the moment. Good spot for a photo#SundayPhotoxx
Love the unusual perspective for viewing the pier although look at the shell of the pier through the construction site does make it feel quite sad.
What are they doing there?
building the i360, nothing to do with the pier sadly...
Every time I see it I'm amazed and impressed it's still standing. Love the capture, very apt
Love this, all the lines, from the fence and the pier, such an interesting view point x
There is something slightly sad about this image. It looks so lonely out there x
Oh wow, I've never seen anything like this. I would have imagined construction starting on land rather than at sea!
so sad, i have fond memories of my childhood on the beach. although the middle section was removed during the war to stop the germans landing the front half of the pier used to be open and we spent many a wet windy day sitting under it
That's quite a sad photo. Looks like it's got a long way to go before it's finished!
Iconic sight, how's the i360 coming along? Can't wait to go up that Thank you for linking up
Oh dear what happened?xx
Great angle! Makes it look like its to do with the burnt out pier! #MySundayPhoto

that's a bit of a sad photo. did something bad happen to this pier? love all the angles here.
Oh those colours are awesome. I always want to stop and take pics of this pier but rarely go past without driving and can't do it. This is truly beautiful :) xx
